Center for Teaching & Mentoring

GTA Career Bridge

The GTA Career Bridge is designed to help graduate teaching assistants preparing for careers in higher education gain the skills, resources, and confidence needed to successfully pursue faculty positions. Through targeted workshops, practical guidance, and mentorship, participants will learn how to identify opportunities in their field, develop a strong curriculum vitae and cover letter, and navigate the faculty interview and hiring process with greater success. Registration is not required. Attend in person or remotely on Zoom as your schedule allows. The Center for Teaching and Mentoring will award certificates to GTAs who attend all four sessions.

This program is targeted to GTAs in their second year or beyond who are interested in teaching careers in higher education.
